Pramac Racing have unveiled the Ducati GP14 machines that Danilo Petrucci and Yonny Hernandez will ride in the 2015 MotoGP championship. The bikes were revealed in a ceremony near the team’s base in Tuscany.

Continuing their work with Ducati for over a decade, the team will run machines similar in specification to the GP14 bikes that Andrea Dovizioso and Cal Crutchlow finished the 2014 strongly on.

Speaking at the launch, team manager Francesco Guidotti said that their strengthening bonds with the Bologna factory, aided by the promotion of Andrea Iannone to replace Cal Crutchlow after a strong season last year, can only help the team perform better.

“A new challenge coincides with the beginning of a new cycle. We have two talented riders who truly understand the shared philosophy and ambition of Pramac Racing. Yonny Hernandez returns for another season, after a year which was not easy, and served as more of an apprenticeship. We have helped him to get through this, and we now expect him to see a leap in quality form the rider, especially in race management. This year he is on the Ducati 14.2, which has already proven to be competitive and therefore we hope to be able to meet the goals that we have set.”

“Danilo Petrucci is a rider with potential, and already after the first test he has surprised us with his pace and given us hope for the season. It is his first experience on a factory bike, and he has yet to adjust to the new Ducati. To help him we have a put together a new team, full of experienced Ducati technicians, and already he has developed a strong bond with Pramac Racing”
