Rabat marks Moto2 comeback with Valencia pole

1 of 1

Tito Rabat has marked his return to Moto2 after missing three rounds of the series recovering from a broken arm by taking pole position at the final race of the season at Valencia.

The Spaniard finished 0.1 ahead of the man who took the Moto2 crown off him, Johann Zarco, with Alex Rins completing the front row.

Brit Sam Lowes was tenth after a crash early in the session left him unable to improve on his time, but despite the poor result the former World Supersport champion says he’s confident with his pace for tomorrow’s race.
