Rabat fastest in Misano

1 of 1

Last year Tito Rabat dominated the Moto2 race at Misano and on the opening day the reigning world champion was once again the class of the field to lead the way by over a tenth of a second from Dominique Aegerter. It was a Kalex dominated session with ten of the top 11 bikes running the chassis with Sam Lowe running fourth fastest and acting as the traditional joker in the pack.

Lowes had a small crash in the morning session after finding a neutral but bounced back to finish the day within two tenths of Rabat and feeling confident of a strong result this weekend. The Speed UP rider spent two days testing in Aragon earlier this week and is riding very consistently.

Cgampionship leader Johann Zarco was seventh fastest.
