Promotion: Find your perfect fanstand at this year’s British Grand Prix

MotoGP fans intending to head to Silverstone for this year’s OCTO British Grand Prix this September 1-4 should book fastto take benefit of the limited-time £65 earlybird weekend ticket offer – while Rossi fans need to be even quicker if they want one of the very limited places in the Rossi fanstand at Copse B.

If it’s Britain’s Moto2 world title hope Sam Lowes that you want to cheer on then the Abbey grandstand is for you, but with more than half of those seats also already allocated, don’t wait to book your place.

“It’s great that Silverstone are able to offer the fanstands and I’m hoping to do the Abbey grandstand and the rest of the Brits proud by taking victory on September 4,” said Lowes. As in 2015, the Marc Marquez fanstand at Village B is almost sold out, as is the Danny Kent stand next door, at Village A.

Manufacturers have again embraced Britain’s only MotoGP visit of the year with Ducati in their regular position at Luffield, Suzuki in Copse A and Aprilia in Abbey. Silverstone also offers six options for disabled race fans, at Club, Copse E, Luffield Complex and Terrace, on the National Pits Straight and Woodcote B.

The four-day festival begins on Thursday with the Day of Champions charity event followed by three days of on-track action as world champion Jorge Lorenzo makes his last British appearance in the blue and white of Yamaha before switching to Ducati for 2017.

And Maverick Viñales will do likewise before he makes the switch to Yamaha for 2017, teaming up with Valentino Rossi.
