MCN laps TT with racing legends Rossi and Agostini

MCN Editor Marc Potter has just called in his first brain-frazzled thoughts following his lap of the Isle of Man TT course with MotoGP legends Valentino Rossi and Giacomo Agostini.

Potter, riding a 2009 Yamaha R1, was more than a little excited.

He babbled: “It was like the fastest B-road ride of my life but then I had to keep reminding myself it was the TT course. And then I had to keep pinching myself when I was realising that I was following the No46, The Doctor, Valentino Rossi. And not only that, his mate Ago was there too. It was surreal and incredible.”

“At times we were doing over 150mph on the Mountain and although Rossi and Ago and the Travelling Marshals weren’t pushing that hard for what they can do, there were times that it was all I could to hang on.”

We’ll keep updating the story as Rossi spends the rest of the day on the Isle of Man.
