Rutter’s TT Suzuki takes shape

Michael Rutter was at the Crescent Suzuki workshop yesterday in Verwood  for a fitting on Sylvain Guintoli’s Worx Suzuki which he’ll race in the BSB round at Thruxton on Sunday.

Rutter also got the chance to see how work is progressing on the GSX-R1000 he has bought to race at the TT where he’ll be backed by Bathams Brewery, Pirelli and Black Horse Finance.

The Crescent team, managed by Jack Valentine, has been absolutely flat out since last weekend’s ill-fated Donington BSB round when Guintoli suffered a compound fracture of his lower right leg after Honda’s Josh Brookes crashed into him on the sighting lap for the first race.

Guintoli’s bike was virtually written off in the crash but has been rebuilt, while Rutter’s own TT bike has been assembled in three days – from scratch!
