TT Preview: Bruce Anstey - new team, new focus

There’s something very different about Bruce Anstey this year. He smiles a lot. He’s chatty (well, more so than ever before). He’s training. He’s out and about at official engagements. And he seems genuinely happy.

It’s all a far cry from the reclusive character that used to show up at the North West, TT and Ulster GP and go racing.

Anstey, it seems is putting a massive amount of preparation (by his standards) into this year and it can only be down to a couple of things: he’s hooked up with easy-going Clive Padgett and he’s really, really enjoying a new-found enthusiasm for not just his racing, but for life in general.
