Lee Johnston says F13K cancer with charity campaign

Roadracer Lee Johnston has launched a new campaign to raise money for cancer charity Marie Curie, playing on his racing number to say F13K off to cancer.

“One of the worst feelings in the world is not being able to help people close to your heart. For that reason alone I’m starting this charity, as the sad fact is – nearly everyone is close to someone with cancer.”

“Some people might think the logo is rude or offensive, but when I think of cancer it’s the first thing I say, F13K CANCER, so I thought why not use this as our logo.”

Targeting a goal of raising £13,000 by the end of the 2015 season, plans include auctioning off kit from top riders as well as tee-shirts and phone cases and a direct donation line.

“It’s a well know fact that racers and race fans are very generous when it comes to supporting charities, so I’m hoping everyone gets involved, by simply donating, or they can purchase a t-shirt or phone cover.”

You can buy a phone case or tee shirt now by clicking here, or simply texting FOUR64 £ [Your Donation Amount] to 70070.
