Rain causes further delays at TT

1 of 1

The weather has once again played a hand in practice for the 2015 Isle of Man TT with the opening night disrupted by bad weather and bad luck. With the sessions untimed because of high winds around the Mountain Course riders were able to test their settings and get a feel on their bikes after Monday’s cancelled sessions.

Tonight’s second session was stopped after 20 minutes. With the sidecars due on track afterwards the clerk of the course called a halt to proceedings after an oil spill on the track. With the Mountain section also drenched in rain there was little chance of any meaningful action but with better weather forecast for the next couple of days there is plenty of hope of uninterrupted running over the next days after a difficult beginning to TT 2015.
