NW200: Tuesday Practice: Schedule & How to watch

The 2017 Vauxhall International North West 200 gets underway today with practice getting underway in glorious conditions on the North Coast of Northern Ireland.

While temperatures are a little chilly, the sun was beaming down on the iconic 8.9mile Triangle course as the newcomers headed out for their timed laps this morning.

The schedule faced a slight delay due to an RTC on the course causing heavy traffic build-up as the roads were set to be closed at 9.15.

Today’s practice will continue session by session until the roads re-open at 3pm, with practice then resuming on Thursday morning from 09.15.

Racing gets underway on Thursday evening with the opening Supersport, Superstock and Supertwin outings.   

Tuesday Schedule – Roads closed 0915hrs to 1500hrs

1^st Session: Newcomers (30 mins – started at 10:10)  

2^nd Session:  Supersport (45 mins)

3^rd Session: Superbike (45 mins)  

4^th Session: Supertwin (45 mins)
