Ducati and Foggy… the end of a beautiful relationship

There has been no official announcement, but Ducati is expected to end it’s relationship with Carl Fogarty within the next few days following the news that he is likely to head up the Sauber effort in World Superbikes.

All Ducati is officially saying at this time is: ” It’s a problem we are looking into at the moment and we will make an announcement shortly. ”

Foggy himself is remaining extremely tight-lipped. ” No comment ” is as far as he will go. The same is true of all of the other people believed to be involved in bringing the Sauber project to WSB instead of the new four-stroke GP class, as first thought.

Nigel Bosworth – who ran the Reve Red Bull Ducati squad this year taking John Reynolds to the British superbike title – has announced his departure from the team to an unnamed ” international team ” .

Bosworth is believed to be closely involved in the Sauber project.
