More WSB, and Suzi, on the Beeb

The BBC is kicking off its ” bigger and better ” coverage of WSB a week before the first round of the series.

Their 30-minute preview show will include a round-up of all the news from the official WSB testing session at Valencia in Spain at the end of February plus interviews with Hodgson and Toseland’s GSE Racing team.

A week later the first round of the WSB series will be broadcast live from Valencia, Spain.

A BBC spokesman said: ” Getting the season started early is important for us and our coverage of the WSB series will be increased. As the season unfolds coverage will be extended with more behind-the-scenes interviews, news from the pitlane and even the latest from the World Supersport championship. ”

The preview will be screened at 4.15pm on Sunday March 3, although this time is provisional, so check schedules on the day.

Satellite channel Eurosport will also be covering the WSB, World supersport, European superstock and World Sidecar classes live where possible.

The BBC is also on the brink of confirming the line-up of Suzi Perry presenting with commentary from Steve Parrish and Leigh Diffey – the same as 2001.
