Chris Walker signs for GSE

Chris Walker has signed to ride alongside James Toseland for GSE Racing in World Superbikes for 2003.

You can read more details of Walker’s deal in the latest issue of MCN, out Wednesday July 31.

The team will run 2002-spec 998s as the official Ducati satellite squad. It means that for British race fans there’s the mouthwatering prospect of Walker on a competitive bike against his old rival Neil Hodgson, who’ll head the factory’s challenge on the new 999 superbike.

Walker told MCN: ” Getting this deal done feels fantastic – it’s another big chance at world level for me and I intend to make the most of it. ”

What do you make of this deal? Do you think Walker can cut the mustard now he’s on a competitive bike? Should he have held on at Kawasaki, possibly for a GP ride? Click on the link on the right and tell us.
