Foggy FP1 debuts at Donington

1 of 1

Troy Corser and James Haydon took the all-new Foggy Petronas FP1 out for its first track test today around Donington Park.

It’s the first time the bike has been seen in public since the bike was debuted at Brands Hatch WSB round in July.

Both riders were limited on time and were slotting sessions in between a normal track day but rough times estimated the pair were racking up lap at around 1:39.0s – about five seconds off the superbike lap record.

Eye-witnesses said the bikes looked and sounded superb and Haydon was seen confidently backing the bike into various corners on the brakes.

The test was the latest development in the pre-season testing of the bike to get it ready for the 2003 WSB season.

The earlier problems with failing oil seals that halted testing three weeks ago seem to have been overcome, and the pair of riders completed their tests without incident.
