Make Hodgson ‘Sports Personality 2003’

1 of 1

It has been a momentous year for Neil Hodgson. The Burnley-born rider dominated the 2003 World Superbike championship, winning it with races to spare. He also became a father for the first time.

Your votes made him the MCN Man of the Year for 2003, and you could add another award to that list by helping him become BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2003. Despite the success of the English rugby team, if there is a concerted effort, we can put Hodgson at the top of the pile. You’d also be helping to bring motorcycling to a wider audience.

Voting for the award takes place during the 50th anniversary edition of the Sports Review of the Year, which is broadcast on BBC1 on Sunday, December 14 at 8pm. But the first step is to nominate Hodgson for inclusion, and you’ve got until Monday, December 8 to give the WSB champ a chance.

To nominate by phone call 09011-110830 with your vote. You can also send your choice by text to 81111. Or you can visit the BBC webpage by clicking this link.
