Walker qualifies second at wet Misano

Foggy Petronas boss Carl Fogarty will be jumping pit walls again after first qualifying at a wet Misano circuit in Italy.

British rider Chris Walker has ended the session second fastest, 0.349 seconds behind the provisional pole time of factory Ducati rider Regis Laconi. And Foggy Petronas team-mate Troy Corser is in third 0.456 seconds further back.

The front three are the only riders to dip below the 1:52 mark, with Chris Vermuelen in fourth on the Ten Kate Honda. Leon Haslam has qualified in seventh, while James Toseland has ended the session in 13th place, 3.283 seconds down on his factory team-mate on pole.
