Hodgson to use Dunlops

1 of 1

Neil Hodgson’s new team, Parts Unlimited Ducati Austin, has decided to ditch the Michelin tyres it ran with in the American superbike series in 2004 and move to using Dunlops for the next two years.

The surprise move might come as a blow to Hodgson who previously expressed his excitement at getting back to the Ducati 999 Michelin tyre combination that led him to become the World Superbike champion in 2003.

Check out the December 15 edition of MCN to get Hodgson’s full reactions to running the Dunlop tyres in 2005.

Hodgson and team-mate Eric Bostrom will get their first taste of the 999R running Dunlops at the Ducati Corse development test at Jerez on December 16-17 and then again at Daytona on January 3-5 and we’ll bring you full updates from both sessions.
