British endurance glory?

1 of 1

The British Diablo 666 Endurance team will be going for glory this weekend at the final round of the championship at Vallelunga in Spain.

The Suzuki castrol team may have taken the championship, but Diablo are in the battle for the runners-up spot against sister team Bolliger Kawasaki and Yamaha Austria.

The British squad has already claimed two podium positions in the 2005 season, with a third at the opening round at Assen, and another third at the most recent race at Oschersleben.

Riders James Hutchins, Sete Mizera and Russell Baker will be riding the redesigned and rebuilt Valellunga circuit, which has been lengthened to 2.56 miles.

And there’s a further battle for fifth in the championship with the Shell Endurance Academy just one point in front of the ‘senior’ Yamaha Phase One Endurance team.

We’ll be getting regular updates from the Diablo 666 Kawasaki team throughout the weekend, and hopefully we’ll bring them some luck as they sport MCN stickers on their bike and an MCN banner in their pit box.
