Barros signs for WSB

Brazilian MotoGP legend Alex Barros officially became a World Superbike rider in the last hour.

Barros signed a contract on the morning of Friday, February 3, 2006, at the Rome offices of Honda Europe to ride for the Klaffi Honda team on a top-spec FireBlade in WSB after 19 years in GPs.

Weather permitting, he is due to test the bike in a private session in Sicily this weekend (Feb 4-5) at a Pirelli test track.
