Wildcards for Bol d'Or

1 of 1

The provisional entry list for the Bol d’Or 24 Hour round has been released with permanent teams being joined by some interesting wildcards entries.

You’ll be able to cheer on the British-based Diablo 666 and Phase One teams at the race at Magny Cours on September 16 and 17, 2006, but there’s also a British bike to cheer, in the shape of a Triumph Daytona 675. It will be the first time a Triumph has been raced, and the Strike Moto machine will be ridden by three members of the Cordoba family; David, Felipe and Alberts.

Championship leaders Suzuki Castrol will run a second bike ridden by Costes, Da Costa, Dietrich and Duterene, alongside the first crew of Philippe, Lagrive and Kitagawa. GMT94 will field Didier Vankeymeulen alongiside regulars Sebastien Gimbert and David Checa, while Kawasaki France will run Steve Plater, Patrick Piot, Josh Brookes and Yvan SIlva.
