Donington Sunday weather update

1 of 1

Those who feared rain for today’s (April 1) third round of the World Superbike Championship at Donington Park should not have worried, with dry conditions and track temperatures as high this morning as they were on Friday afternoon – and the riders haven’t even got out on track yet!

Track temperatures are up to eight degrees centigrade before this mornings warm-up sessions, and the forecast is for sunny conditions with a maximum temperature of 14 degrees.

There’s quite a high wind just like yesterday which could prove problems for riders, and could mean you’ll be chasing your caps on the spectator banks.

Troy Corser said the high wind was a contributing factor for his Superpole crash yesterday that has pushed him back to eight on the grid.

Bayliss starts from pole, and James Toseland will be looking to power to the front from fourth.
