Alstare Suzuki’s Yukio Kagayama has been declared unfit to race in today’s two Superbike races following a crash in free practice yesterday (Saturday).

Kagayama missed Superpole and was taken to the near by Adena hospital where he was kept in overnight for observation due to concussion.

After initial x-rays, the Japanese rider underwent further scans this morning where he has been diagnosed with a broken fourth Metacarpal in his right hand.

Kagayama now faces a battle for fitness to be ready for the Misano round of the World Superbike Championship in two weeks time.
