WSB test Imola: Haga update

Noriyuki Haga is continuing to make good progress following his sickening race two crash at Donington Park 16 days ago.

The Xerox Ducati rider and WSB series leader made an appearance at the Imola circuit on Tuesday to take a look at the revised circuit layout, which includes a new chicane on the start finish straight.

Haga was showing no signs of his injuries walking around the paddock and has elected not to wear his removable cast on his broken right forearm which has been pinned and plated.

Heather Watson from Ducati told MCN:

“Nori is in good spirits, his arm is making really good progress and I don’t think he’s actually worn the cast since he left hospital.

“Progress with the Scapula is a bit slower because the doctors were unable to treat this so it’s just down to the natural healing process.

“He came to Imola to take a look at the changes and he also saw the guys from the Clinica Mobile and had additional X-rays just to make sure everything is healing as it should.”
