Imola WSB: Practice sessions finally get underway

On track action at Imola has finally got underway following the postponement earlier this afternoon due to poor circuit grip.

Since the top WSB men boycotted the session, the track has been cleaned and early indications suggest that grip has drastically improved.

Supersport riders were the first to venture out on track at 16.30 local time for their one hour long session.

World Superbike riders will return to the circuit at 17.45 local time.

Superstock 600 and Superstock 1000 practice has been cancelled, but the normal schedule of events will return tomorrow, meaning that WSB men will go straight into their one and only qualifying session in the morning before Superpole.
