BMW Motorrad rider Troy Corser has been the biggest improver so far during the second day of testing at Misano.

Heavy overnight rain meant that grip at the circuit has reduced leaving the majority of the grid unable to match or improve their times from the opening day of the test.

One exception has been Corser, who after making a rear link change to his S1000RR managed to lap faster and more consistently.

Speaking to MCN, he said: “The track isn’t as good today, but we’ve been able to find more grip.

“We’ve changed the link and a few other bits and pieces and I’ve done 25 laps on a tyre in and out of the pits and the times have been high 1.36’s to low 1.37’s. We couldn’t have done that before.

“Now we need to wait for the track temperature to go down a bit and then test again.”

Corser set a 1.36.68 best compared to his 1.37.1 yesterday. Max Biaggi still holds the fastest time from the test with a 1.36.4 set yesterday morning.
