The World Superbike championship has brought to an end months of waiting by finally released a provisional calendar for the 2016 season.

The new schedule doesn’t bring the massive shake-up expected by some in the paddock as Dorna continues to tinker with the series after their 2012 purchase of the series – but does see a return to the superbike heartland of Eastern Germany.

As announced last week, the series will now return to Lausitzring, with a raceday of 18 September, while British fans can see the series in action on it’s now-traditional 29 May slot at Donington Park.
