The new Yamaha XJ6 is similar to the new Diversion

Yamaha has just launched the new XJ6 at a press conference ahead of the opening of the Milan show tomorrow.

The new motorcycle shares most of its components with the XJ6 Diversion launched in October – the novice-focussed chassis and FZ6 Fazer-derived 600cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine are identical to the half-faired machine. The main difference is the fairing has been replaced with an FZ1 style headlight cluster.

Colours are white, yellow or black.

XTZ or new TDM ?

FJ6 is noice and will appeal but as 'toe down sv' says there is plenty of competition in this sector already. so Yamaha/MCN where is our TDM replacement or even this fabled XTZ 1200 Tenere ????

Not For Me, But Maybe For Others !!!!

I dont like unfaired bikes (unless theyre retro's) but i can see other people riding this bike! The new engine along with all the other good bits of the FZ6 will more than certainly bulk-up sales for this branch of sporty-commuter 600 markets! However I feel they should of done it in the XJR "Racing Blue" - the metalic blue one with the white stripe along the machine, that'd work perfect on this bike me thinks....
