08 April 2009 11:03
Yamaha’s new XJ6 Diversion and WR125X are in showrooms now.
The XJ6 Diversion returns to the mid-range of motorcycles Yamaha had with the bike of the same name: easy to live with motorcycles that are fun to ride and economical.
As with the previous model, the new bike comes with the protection of a half fairing which allows long distances as well as short hops.
The new all-rounder comes with a four-cylinder four-stroke motor that develops its power throughout the mid-range making it easy to ride – include the low seat height and smooth handling and the Diversion suits new or more experienced riders.
Prices are £4949.00 or £5249.00 with ABS (plus road tax and first registration fee), colours are blue, red and graphite.
The leaner legal Yamaha WR125X Supermoto is also available through authorised Yamaha dealers now.
Powered by the same motor that is in the YZF-R125, the WR is well suited to the city, combining dirt bike looks with sports bike tyres for better road performance.
Big 41mm forks, 17 inch wheels and huge brakes make the ride more fun.
Priced at £3199 plus road tax and first registration fee. Colours are white and blue.
