Top bike reviews

  • BMW F800GS (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

A more substantial-feeling middleweight GS model that has a high spec list, low-price tag, and the ability to be made A2-legal if required.

  • ZEEHO AE8S+ (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    3 out of 5 (3/5)

Zeeho may be an unknown name in Europe, but relatively cheap prices, KTM Group backing, and perky performance could make the AE8 S+ a winner

  • MAEVING RM1S (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

A refreshingly different 125-equivalent electric motorcycle for town and city riding

  • TRIUMPH ROCKET III Storm (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

Triumph’s 2024 Rocket 3 combines record breaking displacement and torque with easy ergonomics and capable cornering

  • KAWASAKI ER-6N (2009-2011)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

It's OK on the twisted, I did add preload adjustment to front forks and fork cartridge from a ninja. Helped a lot on down hill cornering. Also upgraded to all stainless steel brake lines and metallic shoes front and back for better braking.

  • YAMAHA TRX850 (1996-2000)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

Best thing is it puts a smile on your face.Worst thing is you hear the same three statements time and time again.

  • BMW R1250R (2019-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

Modern version of R9T. I have driven/owned most brands of motorcycles in 45 years. I had the R1200GS TE (2013), R1200RS SE (2015), R1200GSA TE (2018) before going back to the R1250R. Personally I find it the most enjoyable. Took a few days to get used to not having a fairing but now I'm...

  • YAMAHA XMAX 300 (2017-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

Still a fantastic bike, still has the same 'niggles' - the split seat is exactly the incorrect size for average height European if doing long miles, the light is abysmal (the high beam light on the dashboard is actually brighter than the high beam itself: duct tape to the rescue!), seat need two...

  • MOTO-GUZZI V7 (2021-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

V7 Stone Centenario - Character by the bucket load. It brings a smile to my face everytime I ride it (most days). Honestly I can't think of anything bad about it. Most definitely would recommend to anyone.

  • DUCATI HYPERSTRADA 821 (2013-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

I've owned this bike for about a year now, it's a standard unfettled bike (2016 821), no aftermarket stuff at all and it's also a standard bike not an SP. I bought it with about 6,000 miles on the clock (on a 7 year old bike, so not really used at all) and since I bought it, it wasn't a...

  • SUZUKI V-STROM 800DE (2023-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

I am made up with my purchase. If there is one thing that bugs me a little, it is the three colour options. Not mad on any of them really. Otherwise, it is an awesome bike and I highly recommend trying one. Went for the Blue and Yellow. Warrington Wolves colours.

  • MOTO-GUZZI 1200 SPORT (2006-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)
