Leon Camier has been presented with a framed picture to celebrate his first British Superbike victory at Snetterton a fortnight ago.

The 21-year-old took the race one win at the last round and today was awarded with a picture of himself stood on the podium.

Camier said: “I am so pleased to have got my first win in BSB for the Airwaves Ducati team; we have all worked so hard for it.

“I must say thank you to our title sponsor Airwaves for this memento of a fantastic day and I look forward to securing some more great results for the Airwaves Ducati team this weekend at Mallory Park.”

“It’s been a long journey to get the first victory but well worth the wait.

“I just need to continue to be consistent for the rest of the season and go for some more wins – I could definitely get used to it.”

MCN presented the 2005 British Supersport Champion with the picture outside of the Airwaves Ducati garage.

When asked where he’d be hanging the picture Camier said: “My mum will probably want to have it and hang it up at her house.”
