Honda’s new CBF125 is proving such a hit that dealers are selling out just weeks after the model arrived in showrooms.
Many Honda dealers have already “sold the ones they’ve got”, according to the firm’s technical development manager Dave Hancock.
Sales are being driven by the CBF’s recipe of low price and incredible fuel economy combined with Honda’s reputation for quality, as riders look to save money in the recession.
The new model costs just £1,795 on the road and can deliver 134mpg, according to Honda.
A spokeswoman said: “Put it this way: We certainly hit our target for sales in December and the CBF125 formed a sensible proportion of them.”
