The world’s first superbike – the Honda CB750 – has received the makeover it deserved courtesy of Japanese tuning firm House Rockers.
The engine is fitted with bigger Wiseco pistons, taking it to 836cc, the frame reinforced in 13 places and aluminium and other lightweight alloy parts have replaced numerous of the steel originals – from the oil and fuel tanks to the battery box.
The standard wheels have been replaced by NSR 250 magnesium alloy items. Carburettors are Yoshimura, the forks Kayaba, the rear suspension Ohlins. And the price?
Those of a nervous disposition should look away now: it’s around £25,000. But look at that beautiful stainless steel exhaust!
