MILAN SHOW: Benelli TRK 502 and Leoncino go into production

Published: 09 November 2016

Benelli has confirmed its TRK 502 and Leoncino models will enter production having previously only shown them as prototypes. Both bikes are powered by the same 46bhp 500cc liquid-cooled parallel twin cylinder motor.

The TRK is Benelli's adventure bike offering with a fuel capacity of 20 litres and fully adjustable front fork with 135mm of travel. The TRK 502 will also be available in slightly more off-road focussed guise with a 19-inch front wheel. The TRK will be available at the beginning of 2017 in either red, black or white.

The other new model from Benelli, the retro-styled Leoncino, will be available in two versions -, the standard Leoncino and the Leoncino Trail. The two models differ in wheel sizes - 17-inch front and rear for the standard and a 19-inch front for the Trail - and tyre choice, with slightly more trail-orientated tyres on the Trail.

The Lion of Pesaro sits atop the front mudguard on both models.

Both Leoncino models will be available in early 2017 in a choice of red, silver, green and black. Prices are yet to be announced.
