The new Triumph Speedmaster will be officially unveiled later today, after Triumph released a teaser video in September.
As is the norm with teaser videos, very little is shown of the actual bike, but we do get a few choice phrases, such as 'British attitude', and 'classic custom style'.
We'll be at the launch of the new 1200cc Speedmaster later this evening, so be sure to check back for the latest news as it happens and keep up to speed on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
The Speedmaster isn't a new name, it's been in Triumph's range since 2002. Originally the Speedmaster had a 790cc engine, which was then upgraded to an 865cc engine producing 60bhp in 2005. From the very quick glimpses we get in the teaser we can tell the new bike sticks with the low slung exhausts and forward controls.
The new Speedmaster will use the new 1200cc water-cooled enginet that features in the Bonneville range. We've previously seen a Bobber based cruiser, with a more conventional rear end including a pillion seat, which you can read about here: Triumph Bobber Cruiser
