16-bikes go head-to-head on the track

In this week’s MCN you can read how 16 of the finest sports bikes performed when they went head-to-head with the same rider, on the same track, and on the same rubber.

MCN’s Michael Neeves joined Spanish magazine Motociclismo for the test at the Jerez GP circuit for five days. The bikes were rated for trackability, with the Suzuki GSX-R750, GSX-R1000, Aprilia Mille Edwards and the Honda Fireblade among the front runners.

The full list includes the: Mondial Piega, Honda SP-2, Kawasaki ZX-9R, Ducati 999, Honda CBR600RR, Ducati 999S, Kawasaki ZX-6R, Ducati 749S, Aprilia RSV Mille, Suzuki GSX-R600, Yamaha R1, Yamaha R6, Suzuki GSX-R1000, Aprilia RSV Mille Edwards, Suzuki GSX-R750 and Honda Fireblade.
