Exclusive look at 2004 ZZ-R1200

1 of 1

After just two years, the Kawasaki ZZ-R1200 is being restyled for 2004.

This week’s MCN has exclusive news of the changes to the sports-tourer, which should make it more able to compete with a new Honda Blackbird and updated Hayabusa, both of which are also expected to arrive in 2004.

The revised bike will get sharper looks to bring it in line with the corporate identity of the latest Kawasakis.

The bulbuous rounded looks of the current ZZ-R1200 will go, and the new bike will have massive new ram-air scoops, to boost mid-range and peak power.

There are also rumours in France that a more touring-orientated version of the ZZ-R may also be available alongside it.

Find out more in MCN, out April 23.
