Paris-Dakar racers at Hein Gericke off-road night

British off-road racers Simon Pavey and Nick Plumb will be at an enduro-themed night at the Cardiff branch of Hein Gericke on March 26.

The pair competed in the Paris-Dakar rally in 2002 for Team Dome BMW, and they’ll be on hand to talk about the 7700 km desert race. They also run the BMW Off-Road Skills Course, so they can offer plenty of off-road tips. There’s the chance to look at BMW’s F650GS, a demo model of the new BMW GPS navigation system, and the GS Owners club will also be there.

” It’s great that Simon and Nick have agreed to attend, but there’s a lot more going on with big prize giveaways, beer, nibbles, and goodie bags for everyone, ” said store partner Andy Morrison.
