Sheene: MCN Legend

Barry Sheene has been named the MCN Legend of the last 50 years.

Over the past few weeks MCN’s readers have voted in their thousands for the person they think is the true legend of the last 50 years.

Our shortlist came from previous winners of the man of the year category and included motorcycling greats such as Giacomo Agostini, Wayne Gardner, Mike Hailwood, Niall Mackenzie, John Surtees and Valentino Rossi to name but a few.

But our readers felt there was only one man who could truly be called the MCN riding Legend, Barry Sheene.
