KTM Recession! UK Dealers

I contacted 10 UK KTM dealers before Easter with regard to buying an 08 or 09 model year 990 Adventure and had just one reply.

Based in Ireland the only dealer in Dublin dumped the franchise due to poor support from manufacturer KTM. It appears to me that UK dealers are selling all the bikes they can get their hands on or have no conception with regard to customer (Potential) care.

I’ve read in MCN that the factory is on short-time working. Maybe anything to do with the crap response from their UK appointed dealers? I’m reconsidering now whether to get an Adventure despite the lack dealer response (but not from any of the dealers I contacted) or back to a Japanese bike.
