Dealers say Multistrada 1200 orders flooding in

Ducati dealers are already being inundated by enquiries for the new Multistrada 1200. The Italian firm’s innovative all-rounder looks set to be a massive hit when it comes to the UK in Spring next year.

Senior Road Tester, Michael Neeves visited Ducati Glasgow’s showroom yesterday to test aspectacular Streetfighter special. He said: “Their phone didn’t stop ringing with people wanting to know when the Multistrada is coming out and how much it will cost. Since the full details came out in MCN this week, Ducati Glasgow has already taken half a dozen orders for it”.

We contacted David Reilly of Ducati Coventry. He said: “We’ve taken a five or six deposits and most of them have been for the S touring model. One customer put his deposit down over a year ago – before anyone had even seen the bike – and he will be getting the first bike in the UK.

“Most interest is coming from existing customers – many plan to have a Multistrada as well as their Ducati superbike.”
