Video: Motorcycle falls through railway bridge

Adventure riding by its very nature means you’re going to be riding off the beaten path, on roads that might be a bit run down, and a long way from civilisation. But we doubt this rider expected to fall through a railway bridge!

As the lead rider of the pair began crossing the bridge it gave way beneath him, with the rear of the bike falling through. Luckily that was all that fell through, as both bike and rider became stuck, dangling over the embankment below.

Although the video cuts out after the pair secure the bike to the railway, the Youtube description details how they got out of the sticky situation.

After securing the bike, the rider was able to get off, before removing the handlebars, enabling the bike to fit through the tracks. The bike was then lowered onto the embankment below the bridge before the handlebars were refitted and the bike muscled up the bank.
