Northpoint go official

Northpoint Honda Racing will compete as Honda Racing’s officially supported Supersport entry in next year’s British championship aboard CBR600RRs.

Current champion Leon Camier is the team’s new signing. The 19-year-old will join 20-year-old Cal Crutchlow who has been retained by the team for a third consecutive season.

Crutchlow finished the Supersport series in equal third place on points this year.

Kent-based Camier was crowned British Supersport Champion after collecting four race wins and three other podium finishes in the series. He also competed in the 2005 Suzuka 8-hour Endurance race alongside Naoki Matsudo. The team finished in 15th position.
