Baz fastest at Le Mans!

Loris Baz and Alex de Angelis were the only riders to test the tricky conditions at Le Mans on slick tyres and the Open class riders were rewarded by setting the fastest times in FP4 ahead of qualifying at the French Grand Prix.

Both made huge improvements once dry weather tyres were put onto their bikes but with nothing to gain in this session the rest of the field elected to use wet weather tyres with Dani Pedrosa the fastest runner on the threaded tyres ahead of Valentino Rossi and Cal Crutchlow.

Despite his mammoth crash this morning Aleix Espargaro was able to get on track and completed seven laps.
