Consistent Rabat setting the pace in Moto2

1 of 1

Tito Rabat had a hugely impressive opening session at Le Mans with the reigning Moto2 world champion setting the pace and laying down a marker to the field by showing that his improved form at Jerez has been maintained this weekend. Thomas Luthi and Jahann Zarco were the closest challengers to Rabat with Jonas Folger relegating Sam Lowes to fifth fastest at the end of the session.

Florian Alt had a big crash halfway through the session with Louis Bulle also crashing.
