Luthi fastest ahead of qualifying

1 of 1

Thomas Luthi is always a threat to pull out a stunning result at any given race but the Swiss rider looks to be riding very well this weekend. In setting the fastest time in FP3 Luthi laid down a marker to the field that he’ll be a threat during tomorrow’s race. Johann Zarco was second fastest in front of his home crowd with Tito Rabat relegated to third fastest after setting the pace yesterday,

Sam Lowes was fifth fastest, less than two tenths off the pace, with Alex Rins just in front of the Englishman. Xavier Simeon was 12th fastest but the Belgian had a big crash midway through the session.
