Moto3: British Talent Team to move, McPhee to CIP Moto for 2018

1 of 1

As reported earlier this month by MCN, MotoGP bosses Dorna have confirmed that the British Talent Team Honda squad they built around Scottish rider John McPhee for the 2017 season will leave the Moto3 championship at the end of the current season to move to the Spanish-based Junior World Championship.

McPhee will instead remain in the world championship, lining up for the CIP Moto KTM squad next season with Dorna continuing to support him as part of their program to develop British talent into the premier class.

And with the British Talent Team moving to the Spanish series, British Motostar winner Tom Booth-Amos and current CEV racer Charlie Nesbitt will join them to campaign for next season.
