1 of 2

Kenan Sofuoglu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) scored yet another win in the WSS class but he had his hands full with early leader Jules Cluzel (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) and British wild card Kyle Ryde (Pacedayz European Trackdays Yamaha) for a time.

Sofuoglu eventually pushed clear as Ryde and Cluzel battled behind, but as the young British rider dropped back he had the MV of Lorenzo Zanetti to contend with.

Up front the lap record swapped several times between the top three with Cluzel the eventual best lapper with a 1’30.425 on lap 14 but Sofuoglu the race winner by 0.891 seconds.

Ryde used his local knowledge to score his first podium in his first WSS race, making it a Kawasaki, MV and Yamaha podium.

Zanetti scored fourth place, with PJ Jacobsen (Kawasaki Intermoto Ponyexpres) fifth.

Local wildcards Luke Stapleford and Sam Hornsey secured sixth and seventh places, one place ahead of series regular and last corner faller, Gino Rea (CIA Landlords Insurance Honda). Andy Reid (Core” Motorsport Thailand Honda) placed tenth.
