What's it like to live with a Ducati Monster+? Find out here...

Ducati Moster+

Tested by Emma Franklin, Deputy Editor

There’s more to Ducati ownership than simply having a red bike in your garage, which is precisely why I’ll be immersing myself into the world of the Ducatisti by attending as many events, clubs and gatherings as possible, to find out exactly why Britain loves those Bologna machines so much.

During my long-term test, I’ll be comparing Ducati’s current 937cc Monster + to both its closest rival (Triumph’s Street Triple R) and also its ancestor – the original 1993 Monster M900.

Later in the summer, I’ll be taking delivery of the new Hypermotard 698 Mono and finding out whether if it’s more than just a single-minded fun machine by attempting to do a long trip on it (pray for my bum), before conceding to its nutty side by finding out whether its revolutionary Wheelie Assist function will actually turn me into a stunt god. Stay tuned!

I can’t wait to get out and about on the bikes.
