James Ellison will be back in the British superbike series in 2008 after he signed a deal with the new Hydrex Bike Animal Honda team.

Ellison, who last raced full-time in the BSB series in 2004, will partner road racing specialist Guy Martin in a deal officially confirmed today.

Ellison raced in MotoGP in 2005 and ’06 with WCM and the Tech 3 Yamaha squad before moving to the American superbike series with Corona Honda last year.

He returns to home shores in a new partnership with Bikeanimal.com and Hydrex Honda.

Bikeanimal.com enjoyed success in 2007, backing Leon Camier in Honda’s satellite squad, while Hydrex ran Karl Harris. The team will run factory supported new FireBlades.
