Quad Lock release new 'Handlebar Clamp Mount' range of phone mounts for motorcyclists

Quad Lock have released a new handlebar phone mount, which expands their range of mounts aimed specifically at motorcyclists. The Australian based firm says its new ‘Handlebar Clamp Mount’ range is ‘built for the ride’, and was designed to combine ease of use into a more secure and integrated mount.

“Recognising a need for a discreet mounting solution, our team is thrilled to unveil the latest addition to our product lineup, the Handlebar Clamp range of mounts” says Andrew Kellock, head of new product development at Quad Lock.

“This innovative range, requiring only a single threaded M8 hole for secure attachment, presents a compact and secure alternative for mounting users’ phones on motorbikes and various other vehicles.”

The new handlebar clamp mount is available in both a standard ‘blue-lever’ version, and a pro ‘black-lever’ version, differentiated only by the construction materials used. The standard version is made from glass-filled nylon, while the pro version features anodised aluminium construction, and stainless steel hardware.

Quad Lock claim they performance test the mounts to ensure resilience against engine vibrations. The mounts also feature a 135-degree adjustable knuckle, and include spacers for fitting to a wider range of handlebar types.

The clamp mounts directly into one of the threaded M8 holes through the bike’s handlebar clamp – installation involves replacing the existing M8 bolt with the mount’s own anti-rotation, serrated bolt base. The mount is said to be compatible with all of Quad Lock’s existing product range, including their action camera mounts, vibration dampener, wireless/USB chargers, and the Quad Lock 360.
